How it works
From a pile of variants to a named set
The Sorter has three stages: Load → Cut / Rank → Name & Export. Here's each one.

Load your variants
- ▹Drag & drop your images onto the drop zone, or click to choose them. PNG, JPG and WEBP all work.
- ▹Everything stays on your computer — images are read locally and never uploaded.
- ▹Then pick a path: Keep only the best, Sort from best to worst, or Skip straight to naming.

Keep only the best
- ▹All your images appear on one board. Click one to remove it; click again to bring it back.
- ▹You set how many to keep (for example 20). A live counter shows how many are left — it turns green when you hit your number.
- ▹Press ⤢ on any image to see it full-size, and remove it from there too.
- ▹When you're happy, press “Next: name them →”.

…or Sort from best to worst (optional)
- ▹Want a strict order? This mode shows you two images at a time — click the better one.
- ▹Can't decide? Press “It's a tie”. Your choices put the whole set in order for you.
- ▹Keyboard: ← / → to pick a side, ↑ (or Space) for a tie, Z to undo.

Name every file
- ▹Your filename is built from fields shown in the bar at the top — e.g. Character _ Outfit _ Number.
- ▹Add, remove or reorder fields. Field types: a searchable List (type to add new labels), a Number (1·2·3 or A·B·C, with padding), auto Resolution (W×H), or free Text.
- ▹Two ready-made presets are included to start fast.
- ▹The number field auto-counts down your list, so every file gets a unique number.

Label many images at once
- ▹Tick the boxes of the images you want (Shift-click to tick a whole range), then use “Set for ticked” to label just those — or “Set for all”.
- ▹Click any small image to see it big and label it right there.
- ▹Drag an image, or use ▲ ▼, to change the order. A warning appears if two files would get the same name.

Download your set
- ▹Give your set a name, then press “Download all as ZIP” for one tidy folder.
- ▹In Chrome or Edge you can pick a folder to save straight into; other browsers save to your Downloads.
- ▹You can also download files one by one, or copy the list of file names as text.
A couple of tips
- • Your custom labels (characters, outfits, etc.) are saved in your browser, so they're waiting for you next time.
- • The Sorter works best on a laptop or desktop — dragging and the side-by-side ranking need a bit of screen room.
